Update Pakistan Super League PSL 2023
Eighth Edition of Pakistan Super League – PSL 2023 schedule is expected to be made Public on 20th January 2023.
The PSL 2023, Eighth edition schedule has been finalized, however, authorities from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will have a final meeting with the PSL franchisers for further finalization as reported in socail media.
Exptected start date of PSL 2023 is 13th February 2023. Tournament will be ended on 19th March 2023 as quoted.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja announced plans to host matches in Multan, Peshawar and Quetta during the 2023 season; in the previous iteration of this tournament in PSL 2022 schedule, matches were held only in Lahore and Karachi.
However, he later declared the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar unsuitable for hosting any matches in this version of the PSL. He also announced plans to introduce an auction to replace the draft for the 2023 version of the tournament.
With the South Asian Games also scheduled to be held in Pakistan in March 2023, the same time period as the PSL, the dates of the tournament are still uncertain. Although it was speculated that the tournament could be held in January and February 2023.
However, according to the final schedule, the matches will be played between 15 February 2023 and 31 March 2023, with Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan as the host cities.
