The Enigmatic Beauty of Syed Khairuddin Shah Tomb: A Timeless Legacy

The tomb is dedicated to Syed Khairuddin Shah, who was a prominent Sufi saint and religious scholar. He was born in the city of Bukhara in modern-day Uzbekistan and migrated to the subcontinent during the 17th century.

Syed Khairuddin Shah was also known as Jeay Shah Jeelani and was a 5th generation descendant of Pir Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeellani (RA).  Shah was born in 1492 AD where he spent his early days in search of Islamic knowledge in Baghdad, Iraq.

Syed Khairuddin Shah lived in Bulri Shah (presently in Tando Muhammad Khan district) for a little time and finally shifted and settled in Sukkur until his death in 1617 AD.

Shah was the founder of a spiritual dynasty. Mian Ghulam Muhammad, one of his successor built his tomb in 1670 AD.
