The Bissa Waterfall is formed by the Bissa Stream, which originates in the hills above the waterfall. The stream flows down the rocky terrain, cascading over the rocks and boulders to create a stunning waterfall that drops into a deep pool at the base. Mysterious holes in rocks of Bissa Waterfalls

In the side stones along the bank of Bissa Nullah, there are round holes dug by people in olden times.

No one knows why the holes are there, but I can only speculate that they were used to build platforms and resting places for influential people who visited these areas in the old days.

The actual waterfall is called Bissa Pine Waterfall and is located opposite and across the road from the car park.

The original waterfall is quite difficult to reach as the trail is narrow and you have to climb down the almost vertical mountain face for about 60 feet.

This waterfall is higher (about 40 feet) and deeper (15 feet) than the ones upstream

You can also see Simly Dam along the way from the road which is high up on the hills.

In addition to its natural beauty, the Bissa Waterfall is also an important historical site. It is believed that the waterfall was once used by local tribes for ritual and religious purposes.
