Gradually add warm water to knead the dough until it is soft, non-sticky, and smooth.
Cover with a damp cloth and leave for 30 minutes.
Form the dough into small balls and then roll them with a rolling pin.
Quickly fry on both sides.

  • Ghee – 3/4 Cup
  • Green Cardamoms – 6
  • Suji (Semolina) – 1/2 Cup
  • Food Color – 1 Tea Spoon
  • Sugar – as desired
  • Water – as desired
  • Kewra essence – 1 tablespoon
  • Dry Fruits

How to Make Suji Halwa

Add ghee to the pan and 6 green cardamoms and saute for a while
Add half a cup of Suji.
Stir over low heat until fragrant
Add water as needed
Add 1 teaspoon of food coloring, and half a cup of sugar and mix well.
Cover with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Add one teaspoon of Kewra water and stir constantly until it turns into a soft texture.
Add dried fruit to garnish.
