Sizzling Mutton Tikka Boti: A Spicy Delight from South Asia

Mutton Tikka Boti is another one of the most popular dishes in Pakistan.

Mutton tikka boti is a popular South Asian dish made with small chunks of marinated mutton (goat meat) that are skewered and grilled to perfection. Here is a recipe that you can try:


  • 1/2 kg boneless mutton
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp raw papaya paste
  • 2 tbsp  Tikka masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp red chili crushed
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required

How to Cook Mutton Tikka Boti

  1. Wash the mutton and cut off all excess fat.
  2. Dry and then cut into small cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the lemon juice, ground cumin, red chilies, raw papaya paste, ginger garlic paste, tikka masala and salt.
  4. Put the mutton in it. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, skewer the mutton cubes.
  6. Bar B.Q or cook on the grill.
  7. Turn occasionally and brush with oil.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
  9. Remove the skewers.
  10. Mutton Tikka Masala is ready to serve.

Serve Hot with Yogurt / Raita.
