This classic margarita recipe is a refreshing blend of mint, lemon juice, soda water, and ice. Sugar is completely optional as 7up or Sprite also has sugar content.

For a sharp taste, rub the rim of the glass with salt and lemon. The perfect refreshing mint lime margarita drink for the summer season and Ramadan.

Ingredients for Mint Margarita

  1. Water 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1 tablespoon or to taste (optional)
  3. Mint Springs 10-12
  4. Juice of 3 lemons
  5. Salt/black salt 1 pinch
  6. Black pepper 1 pinch (optional)
  7. 7up/Sprite half liter
  8. Ice
  9. Mint leaves


  1. Add water, sugar, mint sprig, lemon juice, salt/black salt, black pepper, and ice to a blender.
  2. Mix until incorporated.
  3. Add the mixture evenly to the 3 glasses. Add ice, pour 7up/Sprite.
  4. Garnish mint margarita with mint leaves and serve immediately.
